Is God speaking to you right now
helping you change your ways
from making all the same mistakes
the same as other days

for conviction speaks of His love
His guidance ever sure
it’s up to you when you will change
and what you will endure

He doesn’t fool around with sin
He knows that it can kill
but why would servants on the edge
live entirely by their will

blessed be God’s Holy Spirit
He’s here to guide our lives
He’s come that we may learn of Christ
in us He does reside
____
no matter how small an issue
or trite a matter be
it’s best to heed what God has said
His word will set us free

blessed are the children of God
most all will try to serve
but some will play a game with God
from God’s path they do swerve
____
neither spot nor wrinkle is there
or blemish of His bride
when He returns at any time
no sin can ever hide
